The Government of Alberta is currently continuing its review of Alberta’s Police Act with a public survey. Throughout the fall, the Alberta government has met with a wide range of stakeholders representing law enforcement, health and social services sectors, municipalities and Indigenous communities. The survey provides the opportunity for the public to have its say on the future of policing in Alberta. It covers several topics related to law enforcement, such as the role of police in community, processes for handling complaints from the public and officer discipline. The survey is now open and will remain open until January 4, 2021.

Many thanks to Resident Rene Hebers for the delightful collection of birdhouses he donated to the Summer Village
